This beautiful blanco Tequila is made from agaves that were aged for at least 9 years. These are slow cooked in traditional ovens and are distilled before a triple filtration. Clase Azul Plata is packaged in unique, handmade decanters created by local artisans and craftsmen. Very good indeed!.

Clase Azul Plata | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Fresh aromas of orange, lemongrass, and mint. Hints of vanilla, green apple, and green tea.

Palate: Vanilla, meyer lemon, fresh mint, and a hint of green guava.

Finish: Light to medium.

Distillery Information

Mexican founder Arturo Lomeli launched Clase Azul in 1997, and the label has come a long way since the original sombrero packaging it was originally bestowed with. Now, the Tequila is presented in recognisable hand-sculpted, hand-painted ceramic decanters. This may have something to do with the fact that Lomeli went and got a Master’s Degree in Marketing in 2000, as well as studying to become a Master Distiller.
