Sweet berries and currants with a grapey undertone, as well as mulberry bush. Full-bodied with chewy tannins and lots of ripe fruit and solid structure. Needs three or four years to soften. Try after 2023.
Wine Tasting Notes
Chateau Du Cartillon Haut-Medoc is characterized by a garnet color, sustained and brilliant with ruby nuances. The nose is complex, fruity and persistent, with aromas of cherry and cocoa jams. On the palate, the wine is supple and balanced with hints of cherry jam and licorice.
