Bottled in 2023 at cask strength (54.2% ABV), only 273 bottles exist. The dual maturation gives it both structure and vibrancy.

Nose: Stewed prunes, ripe cherries, and vanilla pod over notes of hay, spice, and wild herbs.

Palate: Caramelised apple, blossom honey, and dried fruit with hints of chocolate and oak.

Finish: Lingering and complex, with dark cocoa, wood spice, and fruity warmth.

Distillery Information

House of Rum is boutique bottler that specialises in an exclusive selection of single-vintage, single cask, cask strength rums. It was founded by David Howarth, who became infatuated with the Caribbean, and its rum upon his first visit in his early 20s. Returning again and again to explore different islands and countries, David eventually took the plunge, quite literally – relocating to the Caribbean to become a scuba diving instructor. David spent the next three decades on a personal rum adventure, exploring spirits from across the region and accumulating a wealth of knowledge and experience that is now shared with other rum enthusiasts through the bottlings by House of Rum. Each expression is drawn from a single cask, yielding no more than 300 cask-strength bottles per release.
