Cascadia American Bitter Liqueur is our Pacific Northwest interpretation of traditional European herbal liqueurs, inspired by the flora found in the Cascade Mountain Range. This bittersweet liqueur is the first product of several years of experimenting with pure, whole, natural, culinary-quality ingredients.

Nose: It is sophisticated, layered, and aromatic with a delicate floral body.

Palate:The spirit is finished with gentian, angelica, and cane sugar for a beautifully balanced aperitif.

Finish: A long bittersweet finish.

Distillery Information

New Deal Distillery was founded in 2004 and prides itself on the “do-it-yourself” attitude of Portland, Oregon. They have a relationship with Loft Organic Liqueurs to produce the grain alcohol base used for the liqueurs offered by that California based company. New Deal comes with a philosophy of local spirits over industrial vodka “made in a vat the size of a city block” by “a consortium of people more interested in diversifying their portfolios than sitting down for a sip with customers.” The distillery is meant to be a symbol of hope, progress, and prosperity.
