This limoncello is made from the lemons grown on the Amalfi Coast in Italy. The area is home to the best lemons in the world, which grow in the volcanic soil of the region. This liqueur is made with the lemons, pure cane sugar, and water. It is then distilled in copper pots, which are lined with lead to prevent corrosion. The limoncello is then aged for a year in large oak barrels.
