The Benromach Contrasts Air Dried Oak is a unique whisky blend crafted from a combination of two carefully selected single malts. The first component is a 2012 vintage whisky that has been matured in air-dried oak casks, which lend a subtle smokiness and depth of character to the whisky. The second component is a 2023 vintage whisky matured in ex-bourbon casks, adding a sweet, vanilla fudge and creamy texture to the final product. The combination of the two results in a complex, deeply layered whisky with notes of smoky oak, sweet vanilla, and a hint of spice on the finish.
