Producer Information

Bartenura Wines is a brand of Kosher wines developed for the US market. It is particularly known for its sweet blue-bottled Italian Moscato, which came to prominence in the 1970s and 80s among the Jewish community. More recently the brand gained prominence when the Moscato become a favorite of hip-hop stars such as Drake and Nicki Minaj (although Minaj has gone on to establish her own MYX brand of flavored Moscato wines). The Bartenura portfolio features a broad selection of Italian wines from various regions and varieties, including well-knownSparkling Moscato and Moscato Rosé, plus familiar wines such as Prosecco and Pinot Grigio. The Ovadia Estates brand is used for Bartenura’s more premium level offerings such as Barolo and Chianti. The Bartenura brand is part of the New Jersey-based Royal Wine Company portfolio and as such there is no single Bartenura winery. Wines are produced in locations through Italy on behalf of the label.
