The Isle of Barra Distillers is the first distillery to open its doors on the edge of the Atlantic here on the Island of Barra. We’re also Scotland’s most westerly distillery giving way to a whole new experience. The adventurous spirit of Barra people inspires our unique gin. Our award-winning Barra Atlantic Gin is distilled from 17 handpicked botanicals foraged from the island shores, capturing the essence of our beautiful home. Born from the island, every drop is distilled, bottled and labelled right here on the Isle of Barra. The Isle of Barra Distillers was established as recently as 2016 but it’s been a dream of wife and husband team Katie and Michael Morrison for much longer than that. The expansive ocean surrounding the beautiful Isle of Barra has inspired the island-born couple’s adventure into the world of distilling.
