Producer Information
Sequoia Grove is a California wine producer located in Rutherford, one of Napa Valley’s most prestigious sub-regions. The winery was founded in 1979 and has been owned by the Kopf family since 2002. It is best known for its varietal Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Sauvignon-based wines from around Napa Valley. The 10 hectare (24 acre) estate is located on the famous Rutherford bench and is planted to 7ha (18 acres) of vines. Cabernet Sauvignon accounts for 85-percent of the plantings on the estate’s gravelly loam soils. Other varieties include Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot, and Malbec.
