Luke Lambert is one of the Yarra Valley’s great winemaking talents. His traditionally inspired winemaking gently draws out the unique voice of the special vineyards he sources fruit from. He focuses on cooler sites in the Yarra, looking for precise, streamlined expressions of Nebbiolo, Syrah and Chardonnay. These wines under his eponymous label are considered by many as benchmark wines in this country. His Crudo label offers exceptional value for money. The Shiraz, Chardonnay and Rosé are built in a more generous style without compromising quality. They offer a brilliant balance of complexity and drinkability. There is little doubt Luke will continue to produce some of the region’s most exciting wines over the coming years. He is a future icon of this Victorian region.
