Markus Iro from Gols clearly goes his own way in vinification. The result is fresh, fruity white wines and full-bodied, storable red wines. The young winegrower cultivates a total of 20 hectares of vineyards in Gols, of which around 30% are white wines and 70% red wines. But it is the red wines that Markus Iros loves and here it is the local varieties that are mainly represented in the program.His main varieties are Zweigelt and St. Laurent.Numerous awards confirm that the still very young winery IRO is on the right track The dynamic winemaker has already been awarded the title of Salon Winner twice and the title of State Winner six times.
