Producer Information
Domaine Pavelot is a wine producer situated in the Savigny-les-Beaune appellation in Burgundy. Its 10 hectares (22 acres) of vineyards are divided between the villages of Savigny-les-Beaune, Beaune and Aloxe-Corton. The Pavelot family has a centuries-long winemaking history in Savigny-les-Beaune, however, since the 1980s, Jean-Marc Pavelot increased the domaine’s presence on the international market. Since 1997, Jean-Marc’s son, Hugues, has also been a key figure in the winemaking taking place at Domaine Pavelot. Domaine Pavelot’s red wine portfolio consists of four premier crus from Savigny-les-Beaune, one from Pernand-Vergelesses (Les Vergelesses) and one from Beaune (Les Bressandes). The most renowned of its premier cru climats include the likes of Les Narbantons, La Dominode and Aux Gravains in Savigny-les-Beaune. Domaine Pavelot also makes a Bourgogne Rouge and two village-level Savigny-les-Beaune and Aloxe-Corton wines. The white portfolio includes two premier cru Chardonnay-based white wines from En Caradeux and Sous Frétille as well as village-level Pernand-Vergelesses and a Bourgogne Aligoté.
