Producer Information
Tenuta Cantagallo is a Tuscan estate owned by the Pierazzuoli family, situated in the Chianti Montalbano region about 30 km west of Florence. The family has managed the estate since 1970, focusing on traditional, high-quality winemaking. The vineyards are organically farmed (certified since 2018), with a philosophy of low yields and high-density planting—producing roughly one bottle of wine per vine, as reflected in their motto “una bottiglia di vino per ogni ceppo di vite.” The estate spans between 30 and 200 hectares, including vineyards, olive groves, and woodlands, and their Chianti wines are made exclusively from Sangiovese grapes, showcasing the family’s commitment to authentic regional expression.
