Producer Information
The organic and biodynamic wines from the New Zealand based Huia Vineyards are great examples that reflect the richness of the vines cultivated in the Marlborough region. This wine label was established in 1996 and has been following sustainable farming and winemaking techniques since then. You will not see any pesticides, insecticides, or herbicides being used in the vineyards to retain the natural flavours of the fruits. Wild yeasts are used for the fermentation process and the sustainability of the land is given 100% importance at all times. As part of their sustainable winegrowing initiatives, Huia Vineyards set up the Mana Winegrowers Collective, which consists of a group of organic wine growers.
