Description
Red Wine: 2019 | Domaine Phillipe Cheron | Charmes Chambertin
Intense garnet color with purplish reflections. The nose releases notes of black fruits, liquorice, a delicate woodiness. On the palate, the wine is rich, deep, racy, the tannins are melted, chiselled and silky. Very elegant finish.

Producer Information
The history of the family estate began in 1930. Paul Misset, Philippe Chéron’s grandfather, acquired the vines in 1930 in the communes of Voguent and Vosne-Romanée. As he was neither a winegrower nor a winemaker, he entrusted his vines to farmers from Vosne-Romanée. Two generations later, Paul Misset’s grandchildren transformed the plots into a 5-hectare wine estate. An estate located on prestigious appellations; Nuits-Saint-Georges, Chambolle Musigny, Vosne Romanée and Clos de Vougeot. In 2011, Philippe Chéron takes over the family estate and gives the vines the benefit of his wisdom. The vines, which are on average 40 years old, are planted exclusively with Pinot Noir. Philippe Chéron’s challenge is to preserve the family heritage while respecting the old vines, which is why the vineyard’s cultivation practices are based on sustainable viticulture.
