Producer Information
Domaine Gilles Barge has been making wines in Ampuis since 1860. Pierre Barge was the first generation family member, and now the domaine is run by 3rd generation member Gilles with the help of his son Julien, who continues the tradition. The Cuvee Plessy is named after a retired local winemaker who rents his vines to Gilles. It is made from vines planted in the 1950’s and is in the Cote Blonde part of Cote Rotie.
