Description

White Wine: 2018 | Site Wine Co. | Larner Vineyard Viognier

This wine offers lovely notes of white flowers, chamomile, and honeysuckle. The mouth is fresh and lively and carries a long finish. It fermented and aged in two neutral barrels and I stirred the lees throughout the aging process.

Reviews:

  • Vinous: The 2018 Viognier Larner Vineyard is a beautiful wine that marries varietal character with energy. Exotic floral notes meld into a core of apricot, ginger, wild flowers, mint and spice in this captivating, alluring Viognier from Site and proprietor Jeremy Weintraub.
  • Jeb Dunnuck: A terrific wine, the 2018 Viognier Larner Vineyard is 100% varietal and spent 8 months in neutral barrels. Notes of buttered tropical fruits, honeysuckle, pineapple, and white flowers all flow to a medium-bodied Viognier that has a rounded, seamless texture, terrific overall balance, and a great finish. It’s impeccably made and is going to shine on the dinner table.
