Edi Simčič Wine Estate is run by Edi Simčič and his son Aleks Simčič. Father and son are both hardworking, persistent, and a little bit stubborn when it comes to quality. The winemaking duo has created unique work in the vineyards and the winery over the years, which is apparent in their award-winning wines. Aleks grows different varieties of grapes, Rebula is the focus, but he also cultivates Malvazija, Tokaj, and Sivi Pinot. Other grape varieties are planted at Edi Simčič Wine Estate, which benefits from the rich Goriška Brda terroir, there are Beli Pinot, Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Cabernet Franc.
