Reviews:
- Wine Advocate: The only white I tasted this time, the 2017 Predicador Blanco is a blend of Garnacha Blanca with some Malvasía and Viura that was barrel fermented in French oak with indigenous yeasts and matured there for ten months. It’s perfumed and elegant, with some complexity for its youth. The oak is nicely integrated, and it’s ripe without excess, mixing white and yellow fruit. It manages to keep its poise and harmony, coming through as fresh in a warm vintage like 2017.
- Vinous: Brilliant straw-yellow. Fragrant, oak-spiced pear, peach and melon aromas are complemented by suggestions of lemon pith and vanilla. Silky and penetrating on the palate, offering juicy orchard and pit fruit flavors that are given a spicy edge by a hint of ginger. Finishes very long and smooth, with lingering hints of smoke and pear.
