Producer Information
Emilien Feneuil is a young grower and craftsman who bought a few years 2.4 hectares around the villages of Sermiers, Chamery and Écueil (Petite Montagne de Reims). Friend of Aurélien Laherte from whom he learned most of his current practices in the vineyard. The vines are divided between 43% pinot meunier, 28% chardonnay, 22% pinot noir and 7% petit meslier. The soils in Sermiers have a relatively high salinity, which can usually be felt in the wines. The company is certified organic with Ecocert and its first vintage was in 2015 and it was put on the market in 2019. Emilien’s sensitivity for the terroir and his accuracy in production give small quantities of wine but of the highest quality. This young but great vigneron will be talked about!”.
