The palate is inky and thorough, holds concerted black fruits with lasting depth, piled up tannins that are really formidable , ripe and multi-layered.

The 2016 Les Maillerettes is very fragrant. Fruity aromas on the nose, accompanied by hints of spice and notes of chalk.On the palate the wine is fresh, saline, persistent.

Bouzy is located in the heart of the Montagne de Reims, a renowned Grand Cru for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The Paillard family settled here in the early 18th century.
