- Falstaff: Bright color. Spicy scent with well-integrated new wood, blackberry leaves, oregano, juicy acidity, mild but present tannins, elegance with medium density, but persistent in its delicate style.
Producer Information
The history of Dr. Thanisch Winery traces back over 375 years. In the early 19th century, Dr. Hugo Thanisch acquired the estate, which later his wife took over after his untimely death. During the time of Dr. Thanisch, his white wines became famous worldwide. His two daughters continued the family tradition of winemaking and added ‘Erben Müller-Burggraef’ to the estate’s name. Today, Maximilian Ferger is in charge of the winery and has been managing the administration for over a decade. In 2015, a newly-built ultra-modern manor became the home of the winery estate.
