Producer Information
Château Cantenac-Brown is a notable wine estate located in Margaux, on the left bank of the Gironde river in Bordeaux. It was established in the early 19th Century and was classified as a third growth in the 1855 Classification of the Medoc and Graves. The Le Lous family purchased Cantenac-Brown in 2019. In 2023 a new sustainable winery, designed by leading architect Philippe Madec was opened. It features materials such as straw insulation and utilizes solar power. It also incorporates existing buildings to minimize disruption to the landscape and biodiversity.
