Producer Information

We have a unique geographical setting, a favourable climate and a winemaking culture sculpted over time in the land, the plants and the people. The winery is located in Briñas, 2 km from Haro, in one of the most traditional wine-growing areas of La Rioja, on a hill surrounded by the River Ebro, at the foot of the Sierra Cantabria mountain range, from where we enjoy beautiful views of the Obarenes Mountains, the Conchas de Haro and the Riscos de Bilibio. We have a unique microclimate, ideal for growing vines, caused by the influence of the mountains to the north and the Ebro River to the south. The Tobelos project was born in the last decade of the 20th century, and together with the project, our building, a symbol of modernity was born. The building was constructed respecting the location of an ancient holm oak, which in turn gave the winery its name, thus symbolising our reverence for nature. The building provides the necessary facilities and space to house the latest technical innovations required throughout the wine making process. It also provides the comfort for our customers to enjoy tastings, meals in our restaurant, walks in the surroundings… and unforgettable experiences.
