A partnership in winemaking between California’s Robert Mondavi and Australia’s Rosemount Estate, Talomas (pronounced “tah-LOW-mas”) is one of the two labels produced by this joint venture. Adopting a rule that neither company was allowed to work in its own backyard, Talomas was made in California by the Rosemount team lead by winemaker Philip Shaw. A California word for wildcats, Talomas (wines) were made from multi-regional and multi-varietal blends which created greater depth, texture and flavor complexity. Farmed in Santa Barbara, Mendocino, and Monterey Counties.
