Producer Information
Arrowood Vineyards and Winery is a Californian producer located in Sonoma Valley. It specializes in a range of single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon wines from some of Sonoma’s most famous appellations, including Knights Valley, Alexander Valley and Moon Mountain. A majority of Arrowood’s collection is sourced through long-term growing contracts with the proprietors of some of the top vineyards in Sonoma, including Monte Rosso on Moon Mountain and Smothers-Remick Ridge on Sonoma Mountain amoungst others. The estate’s flagship wine, Réserve Spéciale, is a blend of the best barrels of Cabernet Sauvignon from some of these vineyards as well as Arrowood’s estate vineyards. The winery and estate vineyard is located at the base of the Mayacamas Mountains in a sheltered, 3 hectare (8 acre) property. This vineyard is planted to Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Viognier.
