1980 Darroze Domaine de la Poste Armagnac Tasting Notes
Nose: Dried prune, fig, and orange peel layered with vanilla bean and toasted hazelnut. Hints of cocoa, leather, and antique wood emerge with aeration.
Palate: Silky and rounded with caramelized plum, honeyed dates, and roasted almond. Gentle baking spices and refined oak tannins add depth and balance.
Finish: Long and warming. Lingering dried fruit, subtle rancio, and soft spice taper off with graceful persistence.
