1977 Dartigalongue Vintage Bas Armagnac | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Dried prune, stewed plum, and orange zest layered with vanilla pod and toasted hazelnut. Gentle leather and cocoa notes develop with time in the glass.

Palate: Round and textured with caramelized fig, honeyed raisin, and roasted almond. Baking spices and refined oak tannins add complexity without overshadowing the fruit core.

Finish: Long, warm, and graceful. Lingering dried fruit, soft spice, and subtle rancio notes fade with refined persistence.

Founded in 1838, Maison Dartigalongue is one of the oldest Armagnac houses in France. Located in the heart of Bas-Armagnac, the family-owned producer is known for its traditional column distillation and long aging in Gascon oak.
