Mortlach 2007 First Editions Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky Tasting Notes
Nose: Fresh and sweet with lemon, iron and gentle lime.
Palate: A sweet and salt balance with liquorice, vanilla and rhubarb.
Finish: Long with lingering citrus.
Distillery Information
Mortlach distillery is a distiller of Scotch whisky in Dufftown, Moray, Scotland. Founded in 1823, the distillery is currently owned by Diageo. The whisky is a key component in several Johnnie Walker bottlings., while Diageo also markets four Mortlach single malts. The still pictured above is Dufftown distillery.
