Ramazzotti Amaro liqueur is the original spirit infused with 33 herbs and spices. It sweetened with sugar but has the characteristic bitter finish of Italian amaros.

Ramazzotti Amaro Liqueur Tasting Notes

Nose: Orange hints balanced with licorice and Mediterranean herbs.

Palate: Averna has a mouth-coating and bittersweet taste, carrying hints of orange and liquorice, balanced with notes of myrtle, juniper berries, rosemary and sage.

Finish: It stimulates the senses, instantly transporting you to their homeland.

Distillery Information

Ramazzotti was founded in 1815 by Ausano Ramazzotti whose name lives on with the company. He began producing an Italian amaro bitters liqueur. Later, he expanded into coffee shops and began offering a mixture of his herbal liqueur in coffee. It was briefly silent durring World War II to reopen in 1947. It expanded in the latter part of the 20th century until acquired by Pernod-Ricard in 1985.
