Absente Fluo is an interesting absinthe liqueur, weighing in at 26% ABV – much lower than your standard absinthe, which can get up into the 50% and 60% range (or even 70%!). It’s made with the likes of wormwood, mugwort, lemon balm, mint, and more, offering up a host of familiar flavours.

Distillery Information

The Distillerie de Lure was created in 1898 in Forcalquier. For nearly 80 years, it has known a succession of owners including Henri Bardouin, a man passionate about plants. Then, it was in 1974 that Alain Robert with a small team took over the company, now renamed Distilleries et Domaines de Provence. Some emblematic brands have existed since the origin of the Distillery, such as Farigoule or Gentiane de Lure, others have been created over time taking into account changing tastes and consumption patterns.
