Hyde 8 Year Old Cask Strength Single Grain Irish Whiskey Tasting Notes

Nose: Cinnamon and Clove with succulent sweet caramel flavours, which moves on to complex and spice sweet American Bourbon notes.

Palate: Robust single grain spices with a touch of cracked black pepper give way to a buttery vanilla and charred oak taste.

Finish: Long and satisfying with a silky combination of oak and barley.

Distillery Information

Hibernia Distillers was founded by brothers Conor and Alan Hyde of Hyde Whiskey, in 2014. Currently based in West Cork, this new operation is not a distillery, but a bottler of Spirits. They have released several expressions.
