The Dornoch Experimental Batches are a series of small batch gins from the tiny, crowdfunded Dornoch distillery made from scratch entirely on the premises – no neutral grain spirit at all! They use organic floor malted Odyssey barley to make their own base spirit, and use a core botanical blend of Juniper, Angelica Root, Cardamon Seed, Aniseed, Orange Peel, Lime Peel, Coriander Seeds, Meadowsweet, Pine Needles and Orris Root, though each batch is slightly different. Batch #6 also features honeybush and cinnamon as botanicals, resulting in a subtle, creamy sweetness coming through.

Nose: Delightful aroma.

Palate: Lovely, mild on the tongue with a slight burn at the end.
